Fun at the Children's Museum

On Saturday we went to the Children's Museum. My mom and my niece Ashleigh came along as well. We had a great time. We visited the new exhibit, Lego Castle. Jacob was very unsure when we arrived. He has a fear of dragons. We did stay in there long enough to get a picture on the King and Queen chair. Then we headed of to Playscape, which was by far Avrey's favorite. She enjoyed the water the most.

Jacob's Valentine party

Jacob and I had a special Valentine night on Monday. We went to his preschool and decorated a box for his Valentine's. It was so much fun. He loved the hearts the best out of all the decorations. The best part was they sang songs for us. It was too cute. I wish I had more pictures, but I forgot my camera. Shame on me! It was even charged and ready to go. On another note, we were eating lunch on Monday and Jacob spelled his name out with pretzels. He is such a goofy boy!
I just thought I would include this last picture, because I thought it was cute.

Snow Fun!

Jacob loves the snow. On the day of the big snow storm, we went out and played for a while. I don't think he has ever seen so much snow. He was bugging me for the next few days to go out, but since Avrey has no snow gear, I could not take him. Lucky for him he has an awesome cousin who loves to play in the snow too. Ashleigh came over on Friday after school and took him out in the snow. They built a mountain and made snow angels. Jacob still had a hard time walking in the snow, but they had fun. Thanks Ashleigh!

Jacob's Goes to the Dentist

Today I took Jacob to the dentist for the first time. We went to Fishers Pediatric Dentist which is behind Super Target. He did a great job. I was surprised. He laid perfectly still while they cleaned and counted all of his teeth. After they finished cleaning his, he told me it was my turn. It was cute. He even let them take x-rays. Everything turned out great! No cavities so we will be going back in 6 months. I couldn't have asked for a better visit.

This looks bad...

Avrey has a new discovery of climbing on the chairs in the kitchen. She has been doing this for a few weeks now and usually makes it up okay. But tonight, she was not very lucky. This is what happened.....

My poor baby girl! Josh was getting ready to bring her upstairs for bath. All I hear is "Avrey, no!" "That's not going to be good." and then of course, Avrey screaming. I come downstairs and she has this huge goose egg between her eyes. Josh said that she fell off getting up onto the chair and then the chair fell on top of her. He couldn't make it in time to catch the chair. She cried for about 5 minutes, and I tried to put ice on it but she did not like that idea. Hopefully the swelling will go down tomorrow. This is probably one of the worse goose eggs I have ever seen. What do you think?

Christmas Day

Christmas morning was fun at our house. I greeted Jacob with a Merry Christmas! and he said "What?" Really?" Let's go open presents" It was so cute. He had forgotten over night that it was Christmas morning. We rushed to see what Santa had left. He even left some of his cookies. Jacob received Geo Trax trains and Avrey received a playhouse. Jacob was of course excited and Avrey could not figure out why we were opening more presents. We played with our toys for awhile and then it was off to my mom's to open gifts. Jacob received, you guessed it, more Geo Trax. Avrey received a tinkerbell fold out couch, and several more gifts. Then, on Friday we went to my dad's. Sorry no pictures from my dad's. I don't know what I was thinking.
