Today I took Jacob to the dentist for the first time. We went to Fishers Pediatric Dentist which is behind Super Target. He did a great job. I was surprised. He laid perfectly still while they cleaned and counted all of his teeth. After they finished cleaning his, he told me it was my turn. It was cute. He even let them take x-rays. Everything turned out great! No cavities so we will be going back in 6 months. I couldn't have asked for a better visit.

This looks bad...

My poor baby girl! Josh was getting ready to bring her upstairs for bath. All I hear is "Avrey, no!" "That's not going to be good." and then of course, Avrey screaming. I come downstairs and she has this huge goose egg between her eyes. Josh said that she fell off getting up onto the chair and then the chair fell on top of her. He couldn't make it in time to catch the chair. She cried for about 5 minutes, and I tried to put ice on it but she did not like that idea. Hopefully the swelling will go down tomorrow. This is probably one of the worse goose eggs I have ever seen. What do you think?

Christmas Eve
We always celebrate Christmas Eve with Josh's Family. This year it was at Lisa's house. Everyone had a great time opening presents and playing with everything. Avrey recieved a cart and some food, some clothes and a baby doll. Jacob recieved a big wheel, which he loved, even though he does not know how to pedal. Maybe he can learn how before his birthday so we can get him a bike. We got home and put out our cookies for Santa and it was off to dream land for the kids.

First Christmas Party
Our first Christmas party was in Marion, Indiana on Saturday. We had a great time visiting with everyone. Avrey was of course being shy. So she followed me around most of the night. She liked the present part though. Jacob knew what he was supposed to do and was very patient while the presents were being passed out. Jacob received a railroad crossing bank which he loved, and Geo Trax train. Avrey received a counting Lily doll and a mu little pony that crawls. They were very excited about their presents. Jacob had to carry his Geo Trax train all the way home and he kept asking where our house was and why was it taking so long to get home. Too cute!

Polar Bear Express
On Friday night we took Jacob to the Polar Bear Express. He was looking forward to it all day. We had a great time. First, we listened to the Polar Express story. Then we got on the train and went to the "North Pole" (well, not really, Noblesville)to pick up Santa, Mrs. Claus and a Polar Bear. This was Jacob's first time talking to Santa and it went great. He even let us snap a picture of him with Santa. Relaxing with daddy on train
